B6 Sandsider Burgh Le Marsh - Skegness - Addlethorpe
A Brand-New Summer Link for Burgh le Marsh, Skegness, Ingoldmells and Addlethorpe.
We're delighted to introduce the B6 Sandsider, a brand-new seasonal bus service designed to provide additional capacity between Burgh le Marsh, Skegness, Ingoldmells and Addlethorpe throughout the school holiday period.
The B6 has been introduced following regular feedback from both local residents and visitors who told us that existing services to and from the coast can often become extremely busy during peak holiday periods. Many passengers have reported difficulty finding space on buses, particularly when travelling to Skegness and Ingoldmells during the summer months.
As a result, we have made the decision to invest in an additional service to help improve travel options, reduce overcrowding and make it easier for people to get around the area without needing to use the car.
Where Does the B6 Go?
The B6 Sandsider operates between:
-
Burgh le Marsh
-

-

-

The service provides direct links between local communities and some of the East Coast's most popular destinations, making it ideal for shopping trips, days at the beach, family attractions, holiday parks, employment and visiting friends and family.

The B6 operates every 30 minutes throughout the day, providing a simple and reliable turn-up-and-go service.

The B6 Sandsider operates:
Monday to Friday only
School holiday periods only (April – October)
No service on Bank Holidays
Please check the timetable before travelling, as operating dates may vary throughout the season.
Why We've Introduced the B6
For some time, we've received requests from local residents, holidaymakers and businesses for additional transport links during the busy holiday season. Existing routes serving the coast can become heavily used during peak periods, sometimes leaving passengers unable to board their preferred journey. The B6 Sandsider has been created to provide extra capacity where it is needed most, helping people travel more comfortably while supporting local communities, attractions and businesses across the area.
