Service Changes from 5 January 2026

From 5 January 2026, a number of service adjustments will be introduced.

​

Some changes (B3 / B9 / 76) are necessary due to a road closure in Pinchbeck.
Other changes were pre-planned to improve reliability, better match passenger demand, and provide a more consistent service.

Please see a summary of the key changes below.

B3

  • Will NOT serve Gosberton or Surfleet during the Pinchbeck road closure.

  • All B3 education passholders in Gosberton and Surfleet should use the B9.

  • Will divert after Wigtoft via the A17 – A16 to Spalding (Wardentree Lane).

  • Will serve Pinchbeck village throughout the day (see timetable).

  • The 14:50 service will now depart at 14:45.

  • Passengers may board and alight on Wardentree Lane.

  • Students for Crossgates should make their way to The Bull, Pinchbeck.

B3X

  • Route and timetable revised.

  • The previous B8 service has now been integrated into the B3X, with minor amendments.

B7 / B7X

  • B7X 07:40 from Boston → now departs at 07:35.

  • B7 08:30 from Skegness → now departs at 09:00.

  • B7 16:20 from Boston → now departs at 16:40 from Boston Bus Station.

    • Will no longer serve the College.

    • Students should use the Marketplace stop instead.

  • B7X 16:50 from Skegness → withdrawn.

    • Replaced by a B7 at 16:30 serving the villages.

 

B8

  • This service has been cancelled.

  • It has been incorporated into the B3X.

  • Please refer to the B3X timetable.

 

B9

Due to the road closure:

  • Will not serve Pinchbeck, except at peak times for education services.

  • Crossgates students should use The Bull, Pinchbeck.

  • Rerouted via Surfleet Station Road.

Timetable changes:

  • From Spalding – 08:00 service → now 07:45 (for Donington Cowley students).

  • New 10:30 journey added (from Spalding).

  • 07:38 from Oldrids has been cancelled.

    • This will now be covered by a rerouted B41 serving Old Leake and Giles.

96A

  • Will now serve Tesco, Mablethorpe.
