From the 6th September 2022 we will no longer be operating the Spalding Town Service or the A8 Horncastle, Woodhall, Coningsby.

Spalding Town. Will be operated by Black Cat Travel (Lincoln) from Monday - Saturday under the authority of Lincolnshire County Council.

It's bitter sweet. We've operated Spalding IT1 & 2 as a commercial 'unfunded' bus service since June 2002, almost 20 years and two months.

We would like to thank the residents of Spalding who have been fabulous, who've supported us in our quest over the past 5 years to have this service underpinned with public funding by Lincs County Council for it to be operated to the level that the residents of Spalding need.

We've been successful in the lobbying, it's just a shame that we won't actually get to operate it - such is life. However, we're genuinely really pleased for the residents of Spalding and for South Holland DC as well as with LCC for understanding and supporting the need of the Spalding residents. A8 Horncastle - Woodhall - Tattershall - Coningsby - Horncastle.
This will become a commercial school day only service between Woodhall Spa - Tattershall & Coningsby. Please contact Lincsbus.info for details of alternative services. This service is no longer supported by LCC.

Saturday Services Update
In line with the Spalding Town Service, we also submitted a tender to LCC to reinstate the Saturday weekend services. Sadly, we were again unsuccessful in our bid to bring these local bus services back and rebuild them. Instead they will continue to be operated as reduced services by Black Cat Travel from Lincoln under contract to LCC.

Black Cat will also operate on Saturdays ONLY the B5 Lincoln - Coningsby instead of Stagecoach, whilst the B5 Coningsby to Boston on Saturdays ONLY will be operated by PC Coaches.instead of Stagecoach.

Brylaine continue to operate all services as normal from Monday - Friday.

We would really like to thank all our amazing passengers for their continued support and patronage, their patience with the seemingly never ending roadworks, for the schedule changes and service reductions we've had to make.

It has been a tough few years for buses but we plan on rebuilding a network back for you which we started with our summer time promotions, these will run until the 2nd Sept 2022. We've been able to offer passengers reduced price tickets throughout this summer with support from Lincolnshire Council. Theres' three more weeks to go. Please don't miss out.

Numbers are rising, passengers are returning back to bus services.
Ditch the car, or you can use your concession pass and just jump onboard.
